Established in 2011, Lomo Apolinario's Comparsa took part in the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Carnival for the first time in 2012 with their show entitled "Renacer, Querer es Poder" (Born Again, Wishing is Power). A year later, in 2013, they won the First Prize for Performance, the highest reward which they also won in 2016, 2022 and 2023.
