Imagination knows no limits in these celebrations, and fantasy and art meet on the stage of Santa Catalina Park and in the bodypainting contest. This is a stunning show which has stirred up more and more excitement over the years. Each participant is given three minutes to show the audience and the jury their meticulous make up, after hours spent on careful and accurate application onto a singular canvas, the candidates’ bodies.

In 2022, the organisation took a new turn and gave the contest even greater fame: it has now come to be known as the “International Bodypainting Contest”. From this year, the winners of the contest receive an invitation to compete at the Klagenfurt World Bodypainting Festival in Austria.
