The Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Carnival “Inclusive Gala” has been held since 2009. Various centres providing care for the handicapped from all across Gran Canaria take part in this Gala. The gala is organised by the Provincial Occupational Centres Coordinating Body (COMPSI), in collaboration with the Society for the Promotion of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Its celebration corroborates the inclusive nature of a Carnival where everyone takes part and also provides one of the most emotional days of the entire programme, with packed audiences in the Carnival enclosure and the enthusiasm of participants who enjoy the event like nobody else.
