Children, our young blood, are of particular importance within the festivities of the city. The Junior Comparsa Contest has evolved into a gathering of groups, and the intention is that no boy or girl will be excluded from the podium. With all the work they do during the year, everyone’s a winner. This event proves that the Carnival spirit is something to experience from a very young age. The groups act in front of an audience that not only applauds their rhythm, choreography, and costumes, but also the energy and excitement the kids display on stage.
