Just a few days after the inauguration of the "Earth" Carnival, the revellers found out who would be the first of the rulers to come to the throne: Inés Gómez Quevedo, the representative of Dihova Distribuciones Hoteleras who, with her costume entitled "Siempre" (Always), designed by Grisela Guardia Gómez, took the royal title of Grand Dame.

Isidro Javier Pérez Mateo was sure from when he saw the first Drag Queen Gala that he wanted to get up on a pair of platform shoes, and ten years after first taking part in the naughtiest event of the Carnival he managed to take the winner’s sash.
Daniela Medina Ortega
Daniela, a Graduate in Medicine from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, was born into a family that instilled in her their passion for the Carnival and belief in studying hard. So as the leading lady of the “Planet Earth” Carnival says, there was nothing strange about seeing her at the age of four as the leader of the group her parents founded with Ramón Sánchez: the comparsa Río Bamba.
Drag Sethlas
For the second time in history, Sethlas was crowned as the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Carnival Drag Queen, title that was also achieved back in 2017.
Minerva Hernández Hernández
The story starred by Minerva Hernández had a happy ending: on the night of February 21, 2020, the young woman from Fuerteventura was crowned as the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Carnival Queen.
Minerva is a 26-year-old from Fuerteventura, where she lived her entire life until moving to the capital of Gran Canaria to study law, at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. She is currently studying a master’s degree and, during the little spare time she has, pursues one of her main passions: carnival.
Chari Alvarado
"Once upon a time, there was a woman who managed to be chosen Grand Dame of the most popular and craziest festival in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. His name, Chari Alvarado".
The representative of Restaurante Hermanos García II and Ferretería José Jiménez Ventura was the first to occupy a place on the throne of the Royal Carnival Court. Her fantasy, “Si puedes soñarlo, puedes vivirlo” (If You can Dream It, You can Live It), was designed by Kevin Rodríguez and Enrique González, and along with her "royal" appointment, the Grand Dame received an award given by Hebe, Centro de Envejecimiento Activo, a €500 check for care treatments.
