Las Lega Náyades

From its very beginnings, this group hasn't missed a Carnival in the capital, where it won the 2008 and 2009 First Prize for Costume.


Las Lady's Chancletas

This group began to take part in the Carnival with the support of Los Chancletas.

From the moment it came into existence it has been present on ten occasions in the final of the Carnival Murga Contest in the Gran Canaria capital.

Las Golisnionas

Two years into their existence, the Las Golisnionas group managed to reach the final of the capital's Murga contest.


Las Doña Urraca

This Murga group set a trend, and for many years they have been a cradle for innumerable Murga performers in the city.

They stopped taking part in the Carnival between 2004 and 2006; they returned for the 2007 and 2008 Carnivals, but since then they have not returned as a Murga group.


Las Despistadas

First Prize for Costume in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2018, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. In 2017 they not only reached the final, but also won the Second Prize for Costume.

They have participated without a break in the capital's Carnaval since they first appeared in 2011.


Las Crazy Trotas

The members of Las Crazy Trotas celebrated their 17th anniversary on the boards of Santa Catalina Park in 2017.

First Prize for Costume in 2010, 2016 and 2017.


Kikirinietas

A Murga made up of a group of girlfriends who decided to create the first female Murga in Arucas, something which had yet to be done in this town which has always been a pioneer in these contests, with its Murgas Los Nietos de Kika and Los Bisnietos de Kika.

With the support and advice of Los Nietos de Kika, they decided to give their initiative a try and after a year of breaking themselves in, they had their début at the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Carnival in 2016, the year it was dedicated to the Roaring 20s. The girls from Arucas repeated the experience at the 2017 Carnival, dedicated to Eternal Spring.

In their second year at the capital's Carnival, they won Third Prize for Costume.


Declaradas

Murga Declaradas came into being in 2015 with the idea of boosting Carnival in the South of the island of Gran Canaria. The group started life in San Bartolomé de Tirajana, but then transferred to Santa Lucía, where it now has its headquarters.

In 2017 it celebrated its second year on the stage of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Carnaval.
