The number of participants signing up to take part in the Drag Queen Gala every year, as well as the hard work that they all put in,  have led the organisers to hold a pre-selection competition to choose the finalists.

This competition is held in Parque Santa Catalina and entry is by ticket only. Anybody who has managed to get one of the tickets – almost as sought after as those for the Drag Queen Gala itself – will be delighted by this live show, which is not broadcast live.  There’s no doubt about it, this is a great taster for the Gala itself, which is the craziest night of the festivities.

28 drag queens took part in 2020.
